Creating art came naturally to Jeff, who formed JC Howe Construction in 2001 with a niche in high end custom cabinetry. Utilizing different woods found the world-over, he expanded his extensive carpentry skills into creating unique fabrications that possess exquisite design with long-lasting functionality.
In his artworks, Jeff uses reclaimed wood, glass and metal––mostly scraps from his construction jobs. From glass flowers, lamps and wall art to large-scale characters and fantastical creatures, Jeff creates art with heaps of imagination and skill.
In Palm Springs, the Elvis Presley Estate commissioned Jeff to create one of the most iconic pieces in town: a 9' x 6' iron silhouette of The King to be mounted on the estate's chimney. Designed, welded and installed by Jeff, the bigger-than-life artwork gained international recognition from French Vogue to Japanese television. This opportunity renewed his passion for the arts, igniting a deeper desire to create more than just functional art.
